The honest picture: native plug-and-play integration (select your brand in the app, done) is available for the most popular brands in each category. Less common brands may require a community-built template or a few minutes of DIY register mapping. Very closed ecosystems (Tesla, Sonnen, Enphase) require cloud connectivity through Autopilot rather than local control.

The key differentiator is that Alva Link gives you multiple connection paths for almost every device. If the deepest path isn't available for your specific brand, a broader one almost certainly is. Compare this to platforms that support exactly the brands on their compatibility list and nothing else.
