Alva Link supports 27+ battery brands. Most home batteries communicate through their paired inverter, so if your inverter is supported, your battery likely is too.

Tier 1 (native): BYD (20–21% EU market share), Huawei LUNA2000, Pylontech, LG Energy Solution, and batteries paired with supported inverters from SMA, Fronius, SolarEdge, Sungrow, GoodWe, Growatt, and Victron.

Cloud-connected (★ Autopilot required): Tesla Powerwall, Sonnen, Enphase IQ Battery, EcoFlow PowerOcean, and SENEC. These use closed local protocols and require Autopilot for control.

Community-built: Varta, Alpha ESS, E3/DC, Pixii (Norwegian brand with excellent Modbus + MQTT support), FENECON, and more.

Overall, we estimate 45–55% market coverage on the free Basic tier, rising to 90–95%+ with Autopilot.
