Where does Alva Link ship to?

All countries in Europe. Shipping outside Europe is not available at launch. Carrier, cost, and delivery time will be confirmed closer to dispatch — you'll get all the details by email before your unit ships.

What happens after I receive my Alva Link?

Download the Alva app, create your account, and follow the setup wizard. Connect Alva Link to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and it auto-detects your energy devices. You can start optimising on Essential (free) or switch to Autopilot for full automation. Total setup time is usually under 15 minutes.

Does the price include VAT?

Yes. Norwegian customers see 25% MVA included in the listed price on both deposit and remaining charge — nothing extra at delivery. EU customers see their country's VAT at checkout, with Alva handling it so there are no customs surprises. Shipping is currently limited to Europe.

Can I cancel my pre-order and get a refund?

Yes. You can cancel any time before your device ships — send a message via chat on alva.as or email. We refund your deposit in full. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days depending on your payment provider.

When will my Alva Link ship?

Shipping starts Q3 2026, prioritised by country and then pre-order sequence. Hardware design is locked, first prototypes are tested, and the enclosure is ready for tooling. You'll get email updates through production and a final confirmation before your unit ships. Remaining payment is processed only at that point.

What is included with my Alva Link purchase?

Every order includes the Alva Link hardware (one unit per asset), Alva Essential free forever for monitoring, manual control, and bridge mode, and 6 months of Autopilot free for early bird customers (normally €5/month). Each energy asset needs its own dedicated Alva Link — heat pump plus solar plus EV charger equals three units. The configurator recommends the right setup.

What is the Founding Member Package?

Every early bird pre-order customer gets Founding Member status permanently. It includes €99 per unit instead of €249, 6 months of Autopilot free, priority access to new features, direct community line to the Alva team, and future member-only benefits. Status is locked in when you place your deposit and never expires.

How much is the deposit, and when do I pay the rest?

€30 per unit, charged immediately at checkout. The remaining €69 + shipping is charged only once your Alva Link has a confirmed ship date, with an email notice before the charge. Multiple units scale linearly — 2 units = €60 deposit and €138 remaining, for example.

How does pre-ordering Alva Link work?

Choose your setup on alva.as, pay a €30 deposit per unit to lock in the €99 early bird price, and secure your Founding Member status. The remaining balance is charged only when your unit has a confirmed ship date. Regular retail is €249, so pre-order saves 60%. Your price is locked even if retail goes up before shipping.
