What data does Alva Link collect?

Alva Link collects the data it needs to optimize your energy — nothing more:
- Energy device states: Is the heat pump running? What's the battery charge level? Is the EV plugged in? What's the solar output?
- Temperature readings: Indoor temperatures (if you have Alva Sense sensors), and the outdoor temperature your heat pump reports.
- Energy consumption patterns: When your home uses electricity and how much, so the system can learn your routines and optimize around them.
- Comfort preferences: The settings you configure — minimum temperatures, departure times, priority preferences.
We do not collect any data that is not relevant for your optimization and we are proud to say we are a European owned and operated company: Alva is not a surveillance system. It's an energy system.
