Can I use Alva Link without creating an account or sharing data?

The free Basic tier runs primarily on the device itself with minimal cloud dependency. Manual scheduling, fuse protection, load balancing, and bridge mode all work locally. You do need an account for initial setup (so Link can receive firmware updates and you can configure it through the app), but the ongoing data exchange is minimal.
The Autopilot subscription ★ requires cloud connectivity by design — it's pulling real-time electricity prices, weather forecasts, and running optimization algorithms that are too complex for the local hardware alone. The data exchange is the service.
Here's what we promise regardless of your tier: you can delete your account and all associated data at any time. Your energy data belongs to you.
