Does Alva Link work without WiFi?

Alva Link needs WiFi (or Ethernet) for its cloud features: electricity price forecasts, weather data, EV vehicle APIs, and the Autopilot optimization engine. Without internet, it falls back to local operation — fuse protection, load balancing, and any manual schedules you've configured in the Essential (free) tier.
For the full Autopilot experience — dynamic price optimization, weather-predictive heating, multi-asset coordination — a stable internet connection is needed. But it doesn't need to be fast. The data volumes are tiny. If you have enough bandwidth to check email, you have enough for Alva Link.
